Weight-Loss Journey Day 6 & 7

Yesterday and today I mentally prepared myself for the start of this week. I cleaned the house yesterday and decided that I need to get things organized. I think being organized has a lot to do with living healthy. (I am going to admit, being organized is NOT my thing, but I'm realizing that a lot of things that are NOT my thing have to change with change)

Today I made veggie & fruit containers for after school snacks. Half the veggie containers have 2 TBSP ranch and the other has 2 TBSP of hummus. I made them a trail mix with some pretzels, marshmallows, some mini M&M's, and some mixed nuts ( I totally forgot the raisins) and then I put it into snack size ziplock bags. They do NOT get these everyday and I have told them they are special snacks.

I made a pan of Monster Cookie protein bites. (these are my absolute favorite after dinner / gym snack. If I need something sweet, these are 120 calories. I put some flaxseed & chia seeds in with the mix. They are super good. And will last about 2-3 weeks. I'll post the recipe below.

Next I prepared the cucumbers, mint & fruit for my water this week. I decided to do a cucumber multi Berry water with mint. In the morning instead of coffee (which will be incredibly hard for me) I will be doing a Cranberry Juice detox.

I'll be honest this weekend I ate so BAD! Honestly In my mind I just wanted to get all the Junk in, so I can fully just be done. I have never actually gone through and got rid of everything in our cupboards, pantry, fridge & freezer before so this will help stay on track.

Last but not least, I meal prepped my lunches for the week. Tonight we had tacos, so I used the leftovers and made Taco salad. Super easy and SO yummy. (I did not include tortillas in my lunches)

This week I am getting back on track. I am ready to lose some weight and reach my goal. My first goal was to lose 20 LBS in 3 months and I did it. So I want to lose 20 more in the next 3 months.
